Firefighter hospitalized after Troy shooting

TROY – Police in Troy are searching for a suspect, after a shooting sent a firefighter to the hospital.

It happened near the Troy Fire Department’s Central Station, near 6th Avenue and Jacob Street, on Saturday morning.

Police say someone fired a gun from inside a car at another car.

A firefighter was hit by a piece of pavement that the bullet ricocheted off of.

Troy police are also asking for any information.
