Florida man charged with having illegal gun at Albany International Airport

A Florida man is facing charges after declaring a pistol at the airport without a New York State Pistol Permit.
Tyron Ridley was arrested after deputies responded to a call from the Southwest Airlines ticket counter.
Police say Ridley was in possession of a handgun without a permit in the state of New York.
Ridley was charged for criminal possession of a weapon and is due back in Colonie Town Court on June 8.
