Florida man facing weapons charge at Albany International Airport

A Florida man is facing a criminal possession of a weapon charge at the Albany International Airport.

The Albany County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded last Friday to the Southwest Airlines ticket counter for a weapon inspection.

Police say an investigation found Craig Wilson did not hold a New York state pistol permit and could not legally have the gun.

Wilson was issued and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Colonie court on a later date.
