Former Albany church leader charged again with child sex abuse

A defrocked deacon is facing new child sex abuse charges in Albany County.
Angel Garcia is accused of sexually abusing two children that are known to him between 2016 and 2018.
He pleaded not guilty, and remains in custody.
Garcia is a former deacon with Church of the Americas in Albany.
He was previously convicted of sexual crimes against a different child.
Garcia was found guilty in 2014 of sexually abusing a young child back in 2003.
