Former BOCES teacher charged with raping 13-year-old boy

A former BOCES teacher is charged with second-degree rape of a 13-year-old boy back in 2019.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says 39-year-old Kristin Bellinger was providing in-home tutoring to the boy, outside of her then-job as a special ed teacher with the Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery BOCES District.
A warrant for her arrest came after a lengthy investigation into a complaint that Bellinger had sex with the boy.
Bellinger surrendered Monday and was later released on $15,000 bond. She is expected back in court at a later date.
