Former Capital Region mail carrier admits to stealing mail
A former postman admitted he stole other people’s mail. Otilio Millan, 33, from Broadalbin pled guilty to mail theft.
Millan admitted that from December 2020 to November 2021, he opened mailed packages, stealing gift cards and cash. At the time, he was working at several post offices in Albany, including the Terminal Street and Stuyvesant Plaza station.
He faces up to five years in prison when he’s sentenced in September.
