Funeral services to be held for Deputy Frank Sorriento

Family and friends will bid their final farewells to Rensselaer County Deputy Frank Sorriento Friday.

Sorriento died this week after battling cancer.

Funeral services will happen at 9 a.m. in Troy. Calling hours were held at the Bocketti Funeral Home on 3rd Street in Troy on Thursday.

Sorriento was with the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office for nearly 24 years. He was 55.
