Giant dinosaurs roaming Altamont Fairgrounds for special exhibit

ALTAMONT – A dino-riffic drive-thru experience has kicked off at the Altamont Fairgrounds, giving you a glimpse at life more than 200-million years ago.
The dinosaurs have spent months roaming the country, as Dino Adventure was one of the few companies that toured across the country during the pandemic.
Visitors get to listen to a special audio guide during their trip, transforming them into dinosaur experts.
"When I started here, I knew three dinosaurs. By the end of this adventure, I can name about 40," said Chris Plaukut, a dinosaur "trainer."
The trainers say they’re thrilled to be providing a safe and family friendly visit for the Capital Region.
It will be here this weekend and next.
