Glens Falls Hospital has more than 50 people hospitalized with COVID. That’s more than any other time during the pandemic.

Doctors say the vast majority are unvaccinated.

As the big holiday season approaches, they’re now pleading with people to get the shot.

"Your life, your loved one’s lives, and those of your friends and neighbors depend on it. This is not hype," said Dr. Howard Fritz, Chief Medical Officer at Glens Falls Hospital. "With this spike happening now, we are all very worried about what is to come one or two weeks after the Thanksgiving gatherings, much less what may come in January."

Warren County reported another 63 COVID cases in their Tuesday update, with 508 active cases.

The county says just 2.78% of fully vaccinated residents in the county have tested positive for COVID.
