Glens Falls man accused of falsely reporting robbery

A Glens Falls man is facing charges. He’s accused of falsely reporting a robbery.

Glens Falls police say 42-year-old Raymond Bellinger told officers three people had approached him in a Stewart’s parking lot on Glen Street last week — demanding money.

NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Post-Star report Bellinger told police money had been taken from him.

Officers say Bellinger later told them he made up the report because he had willingly given money to someone who had not fulfilled an obligation to him.
