Glenville PD to provide new school resource officers in two area districts

Two school districts are joining forces to enhance public safety.
The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake and Scotia-Glenville School Districts and the town of Glenville are announcing two new positions in the town police department.
The officers will be dedicated to serving the school districts.
The districts will share the hiring costs.
Officers say this is an opportunity to engage the youths.
The officers will be reporting to schools throughout the school year.
