Gloversville man killed in Montgomery County crash

AMSTERDAM – A deadly crash in Montgomery County is under investigation.
State police say it happened Tuesday afternoon on State Route 5 in the town of Amsterdam.
Police say 54-year-old James Green of Gloversville crossed the median and began traveling west in the eastbound lane. He then collided head-on with a tractor-trailer.
Green was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital, where he died.
