Gov. Cuomo: NY seven-day positivity rate declines for 62 consecutive days

New York has seen a new record-low in statewide COVID-19 positivity rates.

The statewide seven-day average positivity rate stands at 0.52 percent. That number has declined for 62 days in a row.

There are 816 New Yorkers hospitalized with the virus; 208 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit.

There were 13 new deaths reported Sunday.

According to Gov. Cuomo, 66.2 percent of adults have received at least one vaccine dose and 58.3 percent are fully vaccinated.
