Gov. Hochul has directed Ukrainian flags be flown at state buildings to show solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian flag will be flown at the state Capitol, the Executive Mansion and the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services Headquarters.

The governor is inviting local governments across the state to join in and fly the flag on municipal buildings.

Thursday marked one month since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine.
