Gov. Hochul seeks disaster declarations for Rensselaer County small businesses after July floods

Gov. Hochul took action Wednesday to help Rensselaer County flood victims, still struggling from July 14 storms.

Eighteen homes and nine businesses were left with $845,000 in damage.

The governor is asking the Small Business Administration for disaster declarations that would allow residents, businesses and non-profits to apply for low interest loans to help with recovery.
