Guilderland volunteers shave heads to support childhood cancer research

GUILDERLAND – St. Baldrick’s foundation partnered with a local business on Sunday to host a head shaving event in Guilderland.
Fourteen Guilderland Center volunteers went bald to raise thousands of dollars to help children battling cancer.
This is the second time the "May The Shave Be With You" event was hosted by Ink & Ivy House of Beauty.
St. Baldrick’s has been raising money since 2005, and the goal this year was to beat last year’s total of $15,000.
