HBO’s ‘The Gilded Age,’ shot in Troy, debuts Monday night

After months of anticipation, an HBO series shot in Troy finally debuts Monday night.

"The Gilded Age" was filmed in Troy during spring and summer 2021.

It takes place in late-1800s New York City, and focuses on an orphaned woman moving to New York City where her aunts live, as old and new money clash.

As part of the shoot, film crews transformed a number of Troy streets and storefronts to look like 1800s New York City.

The show is set to air at 9 p.m. on HBO, with a re-airing immediately after.
