Ice Castles attraction taking shape in Lake George
LAKE GEORGE – While some of us are worrying about the extreme cold, others can’t wait for it.

Lake George Ice Castles, the area’s new wintertime playland, is getting ready to open.
It needs freezing temperatures to make the hundreds of thousands of icicles that will become frozen towers, tunnels and slides.
If the weather cooperates, they hope to open by next Friday. If they do, tickets will go on sale early next week.
