Intruder caught on camera in Washington County woman’s home

A Washington County woman lived through what could have been a scene in a horror movie. Her security camera captured a man inside her home while she was there.

Kat Grimes was charging her security cameras at her house while she got ready for work Saturday. Then put them back outside.

That night, she was with family when she happened to check her camera feed history and froze. It was a snapshot of a stranger, caught on a charging camera inside her home while she was there.

Even worse, the window of time he had to go into her house was so small, she thinks he may have been watching beforehand and ran in while she was out getting her cameras.

She thinks he got out through the basement because an inside deadbolt there had been opened.

She doesn’t recognize the intruder, but she’s hoping someone else will. State police are now investigating.
