Jack’s Drive-In opens for 2022 season in Wynantskill

WYNANTSKILL – It’s a sure sign of spring! Jack’s Drive-In has reopened for the season.
The popular burger joint in Wynantskill started serving customers Monday morning.
Some people build their whole year around Jack’s opening day, like 45-year-old Robert Kehn – who never misses this start of "gastronomical spring." He’s been coming here since he was 13 years old.
Kehn was the first customer of the season this year. It’s a distinction he’s had a few times before. Though times may change, his order does not. The classic burger, dogs with everything and cheese fries.
It’s a smell that’s been filling the Wynantskill air since long before Deeb bought Jack’s from Jack Horn – way back in 1966. In fact, this is the drive-in’s 84th season in business.
