Two kayakers are safe after rough waters caused their kayak to capsize in the Hudson River.
It happened Sunday morning in the area of the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse.
The city of Hudson Fire Department says one victim was able to climb back into the two-person kayak, while the other, still in the water, clung to the side with a partially unsecured life vest.
Crews were able to grab the victims and the kayak out of the water.
There were no injuries.
