Kentucky woman leads effort to collect prom dresses for tornado victims

MAYFIELD, Ky. – It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity – the high school prom.
One Louisville woman helped gather 200+ dresses for girls to wear.
However, the dresses are for teens who were impacted by the December tornado.
The organizer just wants the girls to feel special for their prom, and they hope these students will be able to forget about their troubles for at least one night.
The girls will shop for the dresses at a special event.
Organizers are also looking for donations for nails, makeup and hair.
