Lake George to refrain from use of specific chemical herbicide for now

Lake George will now refrain from any use of the chemical herbicide ProcellaCOR prior to June 15.
The Lake George Association, Commission, Waterkeeper, and the town of Hague agreed in New York State Supreme Court in Warren County on Wednesday.
According to the court order, this will provide the judge sufficient time to decide petitioners’ motion to protect Lake George from any potential adverse side effects of the herbicide until at least mid-June.
