Maine man accused of stealing Colonie fire truck

Police arrested a man from Maine, accused of stealing a fire truck in Colonie.
Police say in October, 29-year-old Ted Zarins was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle. He was arraigned and released.
On the same day, police say he stole a ladder belonging to the Albany Fire Department, and ditched it in Schenectady. Then they say he stole a car from a dealership. That car was found in Connecticut.
Zarins was sent to the Albany County Jail. He is facing several felony charges.
