Man charged in deadly Niskayuna crash

NISKAYUNA – A woman is dead, and a man is facing charges, after a car crash last week in Niskayuna.
It happened around 7 p.m. Friday night on Troy Schenectady Road near Shannon Boulevard.
Niskayuna police say Mark Brodie and Denise Guthinger were the two drivers involved. Guthinger was killed.
Police say Brodie was driving while intoxicated. He’s now charged with vehicular manslaughter, DWI, and DWAI. He was sent to the Schenectady County Jail.
