ALBANY – Albany police say a 36-year-old man has died after a shooting on Thursday afternoon.

Police say it happened at Delaware Avenue near Carroll Terrace.

Police had a bunch of evidence markers around the nearby KFC parking lot and a surrounding road.

The road was closed for a time, but is back open. However, the KFC and Taco Bell are closed for the evening.

This is the third in a string of shootings in Albany. A 16-year-old is charged with attempted murder after police say he shot a 17-year-old and may have accidentally shot himself as well. It happened on North Allen Street.

Then Wednesday—two 16-year-olds were shot on Quail Street near Spring Street, in what police say was a big fight.

Police still have not released the name of the man who died Thursday.
