Man recovering after shooting inside Pittsfield home

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – A man from Pittsfield is recovering after police say he was shot inside a home.

Pittsfield police responded to a home on Congress Street late Saturday night. They found a 24-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police say the shooting took place inside another home on Congress Street.

The victim is in stable condition.

Police don’t believe this was a random incident.
