Man sentenced in Colonie Center Macy’s robbery

The man accused of committing an armed robbery at Colonie Center has been sentenced.
Tyler Meltz, 28, received an aggregate sentence of eight and half years in state prison followed by five years post release supervision.
An indictment on Metlz says he was out on bail on January 27 of this year when he stole a vehicle on Albany Shaker Road, then committed an armed robbery at the Macy’s in Colonie Center.
Meltz pleaded guilty to two felony charges of attempted robbery.
