Mechanicville School District superintendent resigns weeks after being put on leave

Mechanicville School District Superintendent Bruce Potter has resigned just a few weeks after being put on leave stemming from a complaint.
Potter went on paid administrative leave on March 4.
NewsChannel 13 is working to find out the cause of the complaint.
Assistant Superintendent Kevin Kolakowski has been serving as acting superintendent since the beginning of March. NewsChannel 13 reached out to him for comment, but we haven’t heard back yet.
