Menands ceremony honors birthday of 21st U.S. president

MENANDS – Tuesday marked the birthday of former President Chester A. Arthur.

The 21st president is buried in Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands. A ceremony was held there Tuesday morning.

Arthur lived in Albany, Troy, and Hoosick, and graduated from Union College.
