Schools in the Middleburgh Central School District reopened on Monday.

The district closed their doors on Friday, after reports a student’s parent was looking in classroom windows, and writing inappropriate social media posts.

The superintendent says after carefully reviewing the situation, it was determined there was no threat to any person, classroom or building.

The district was having meetings Monday morning to go over safety protocols with all staff members.

State troopers and the Schoharie County Sheriff’s Department will do daily checks of both school buildings every day for the remainder of the school year.
