Motorcyclist killed in Saratoga Springs after being hit by pickup truck

SARATOGA SPRINGS – A tragic crash is under investigation in Saratoga Springs. It happened Wednesday night at the intersection of state Route 29 and Brook Road.
Police say a pickup truck and a motorcycle were involved. They say the driver of the pickup truck was making a turn onto Brook Road when the two collided.
Initial investigation finds the 81-year-old truck driver failed to yield the right of way to the motorcyclist.
William Benton, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene.
