Mystery surrounds stolen car found in Montgomery County

Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies are trying to figure out who stole a now-recovered vehicle.

A car was reported stolen in Nelliston on Sept. 30.

Deputies found it on Canal Street in Fort Plain on Monday.

They did not say if anything inside the vehicle was stolen.

Officials are still looking for the person responsible, and are asking if you know anything about what happened, to give them a call.
