New beer raises money for veteran homelessness

A local brewery is honoring fallen service members with a new beer.

The owner of Mixed Breed Brewing in Guilderland created a beer to honor his friend "Glover" who died during combat.

For every "Glover" sold, Mixed Breed Brewing will donate $1 to the Veteran and Community Housing Coalition to help end veteran homelessness.

"We love to give back to the community and give back to the people that support everything that’s going on. It’s really important to us," said Bruce Skellie, co-owner of Mixed Breed Brewing. "We have two veterans here that are owners in the business, including our head brewer. We love to give back for his time served and everyone else’s time."

The "Glover" is a New England IPA.
