New gun buyback program aims to get guns off Albany streets

ALBANY – A program to curb the recent gun violence in Albany was announced on Friday morning.

Victory Christian Church has a total of $2,000 worth of Visa gift cards.

Anyone can stop by the church between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, turn in an illegal gun no questions asked, and get one of the gift cards.

Each gift card is worth between $100 and $300.
