New Jersey man accused of drunken driving in Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM – A New Jersey man is accused of driving drunk and falling asleep at the wheel on the Thruway in Bethlehem.

State police say it happened late Tuesday night.

Troopers say they found David Laughlin’s car parked on the shoulder, and he was sleeping inside.

They woke him up and interviewed him.

Police say his blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.
