New Texas school to focus on Pre-K through 8th grade biomedicine education

UT Southwestern is a teaching campus where medical professionals hone their skills. It’s also a place for those who are just beginning to learn.
Next year, an unlabeled building will unlock young minds.
It’s a place where elementary education and medicine meet.
Principal Roberto Gonzalez says it’s never too early to get kids thinking about a future career in medicine. He used to be a doctor in his native Colombia.
The school with have components of STEM education, with labs, virtual reality, field trips, and lectures from UT Southwestern staff.
