No credibility to UAlbany social media threat

Final exams were given as scheduled at U-Albany today as police continue to investigate a threatening post made on social media.

Officers say they found no credible information linking the threat back to the U-Albany campus.
They say the post initially surfaced in association with a New York City-area high school, and was later re-shared in a group chat that included students at UAlbany.

The University PD is stressing that there is no information to suggest there’s a credible threat.
