NY state has fewest number of daily COVID deaths since September

Three more COVID deaths were reported in New York state’s Monday numbers. That is the fewest number of fatalities in one day since September 28, 2020.

One of those who died was from Schoharie County.

Another 16 New Yorkers went to the hospital Sunday, four were moved to intensive care, and 52 were discharged.

Another 24,746 New Yorkers got vaccinated Sunday.

Gov. Cuomo says 72% of those 18 years of age and older have now received at least one dose of the vaccine.
