One person dead after following Troy crash

One person is dead and another injured after an early morning car crash in Troy.
Police say it happened around 1 a.m. on Sunday near Mill Street and Campbell Avenue.
Police addressed social media rumors about the crash. They said that no one has been arrested at this point and the vehicle did not hit a house. State police are helping Troy police with the investigation.
The Troy City Council president released a statement on Sunday saying that while the cause of this crash is still not known, many council members have been calling for striping, enhanced signage, and other traffic safety improvements in that area for years.
