Making sure people have a warm meal to eat is something one Waterford chef is passionate about. He is preparing to put together a big Thanksgiving day meal for seniors free of charge.
Joseph Forget is a part of the Waterford Knights of Columbus. Their organization does a lot for charity. On Saturday, he and volunteers helped prepare a meal for seniors at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church. Joseph will be doing a similar thing on Thanksgiving day at the North Side Fire District. The dinner will be from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The goal is to feed seniors and anyone in Waterford who needs a meal.

“We’re going to be hopefully serving anywhere from 100 to 150 meals, maybe more. And we are still looking for donations," said Forget.
