Before the stay into New York state’s mask mandate was granted, some parents were saying it’s time for kids to go to school without masks – and they rallied outside area schools.
That included some parents outside Shenendehowa High School on Tuesday morning – hoping this decision would not happen.
They believe their kids should no longer have to wear masks in school. Those parents believe what Gov. Hochul did was unconstitutional.
However, not everyone agrees. Beverly Ivey is a retired elementary school principal. She believes the governor implemented the mandate looking out for the health of New Yorkers.
