Pennsylvania man killed in Schoharie motorcycle crash

A Pennsylvania man was killed in a Schoharie motorcycle crash.
Police say they tried stopping 25-year-old Yohannes Bernot on I-88 around 7:15 Wednesday evening for speeding. They say Bernot then sped off and police lost sight of him.
The trooper later saw the motorcycle travel off the road and down an embankment. However, they weren’t chasing Bernot at the time.
Bernot was pronounced dead at the scene.
