People braved the heat in the Capital Region Saturday

With the temperatures reaching around 90 degrees Saturday, some people in the Capital Region decided to brave the heat.

Over at Rosemont Park in Albany, there were a couple kids having fun at the spray pads.

The city of Albany activated their spray pads at different area parks due to the weather. People of all ages took advantage of being able to get a cool down.

At the Waterford Carnival Festival, a couple people were able to enjoy the boat rides. Some people decided to seek relief from the heat in the shade.
