Pinned cat rescued after car crash in Cohoes

COHOES – A cat in Cohoes is down to eight lives.

Firefighters responded to a car crash where a cat got shoved under the front passenger seat from the impact.

The animal was pinned and couldn’t get out.

Crews were able to cut apart the seat to free the animal.

Firefighters tell NewsChannel 13 the cat’s owner was ecstatic to be reunited with their pet.

None of the humans involved in the crash were injured.
