Pittsfield plans to flush water mains

The city of Pittsfield is cleaning up its water. Over the next four weeks, water mains will be flushed Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The city flushes hydrants to remove accumulations of pipeline corrosion.
Flushing will affect different neighborhoods in different weeks. Mains will not be flushed on holidays.
