Pittsfield seeks Fourth of July Parade participants

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – The city of Pittsfield is gearing up for its Fourth of July parade.
The parade was not held the past two years because of the pandemic.
Typically, there are about 170 marching bands, floats, balloons and entertainment groups. So far, about 80 have signed up.
The deadline for applications is June 1.
