Pittsfield shooting injures man, kills dog

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – A man and dog were shot in Pittsfield Sunday evening.

Police say it happened at a Woodlawn Avenue home around 10:45 p.m.

The man was taken to Berkshire Medical Center, and is expected to survive. However, the dog died on the way to an animal hospital.

Police think there are several suspects involved.
