Plug Power plans 350k square foot Bethlehem facility

Latham fuel cell maker Plug Power is expanding its operations in the Capital Region.

According to a report in the Albany Business Journal, the company will build a 350,000 square foot factory and office complex in Bethlehem.

The local plant will house a fuel cell assembly line and employ nearly 700 people.

The land is part of the Vista Technology Campus in Slingerlands.

The company has not responded to NewsChannel 13’s requests for comment.
