ALBANY – A police chase ends with a crash in Albany.

State police say there was a pursuit that ended in a crash by Exit 3B.

Police say two people are in custody. The suspects are being evaluated at Albany Medical Center.

Trooper Kerra Burns, a New York State Police spokeswoman, says the two people involved in the car chase have not been charged just yet. She says once they are evaluated, they will then be charged and arraigned.

NewsChannel 13 arrived to the site of the crash around 11:30 Tuesday morning. While we were there, we did see two people being taken on a stretcher to an ambulance. One of those individuals was not involved in the chase, but was injured. That person is being evaluated.

The other person was a suspect.

Trooper Kerra Burns says the people injured have non-life-threatening injuries.

Two vehicles had significant damage and had to be towed away.
